Originally Raina never looked like the way she does now (I'll put up a picture of her original form soon), and the cause of this is the bandage on her left arm (something a lot of people never seem to notice it's there >>; ). A few years back, Raina had won an event, in which the grand prize was a rose tattoo that gave the wearer unlimited power while in battle. However, something was wrong with the tattoo. When she tried out the tattoo the first time, it took absolute possession of her and began to drain life out of everything. The only solution was to hide away the tattoo for good, which is where the bandage comes in. The bandage was enough to hid away the tattoo and save Raina from it. It is to be believed that the tattoo was a virus itself, but no one for sure really knows. Due to the bandage being designed to hold back it's power, it changed the way Raina looked too. Most importantly, Raina can't take it off. No really she can't. Only one of the opposite sex can take it off and put it back on.
